I saw the charity show host on ch 8 yesterday, a 3 hour show to raise fund for the needy in china. I felt so lucky to be able to live in singapore where we are free from those natural disaster. The city in si chuan province where it used to be so bustling and now became a devastated one, so saddening. My heart really goes out to those children. As i was watching the show, i was touched by the scene of the rescuers saving the people out of the rubbles and there's particularly one part when there was showing a message left by a mother to a baby child who was 3 months old.
The message goes like this:
Dearest percious,
If u happen to be still alive,
Mummy just want to say that I love you!
I was so touched at the point of time. It is really saddening and heartbreaking to see the people down there to be in such plight. My eyes became watery and i get so emotioned. I, too make a call to make a donation. Amount may not be alot but hopefully will be able to help those people and may god bless them!
